At the Asatru Runic Conservatory, we offer a small community of people with skills. We gather discuss religious precepts and philosophy and our Sagas and we eat great meals and nurture friendships that go back decades. If you need a guy who knows a guy to get something done, we have guys.  We are primarily Odinists, as he is the chiefest of our Gods.  You have to find Odin yourself, we don't evangelize.  Don't worry, he's a sneaky pirate and when he wants you he'll let you know.  One of the things that I appreciate about our Gods is that they have adopted many human failings, or conversely, taught the humans various forms of bad behavior.  I much prefer that than submission to an all-seeing all-knowing, all powerful (yet seemingly disinterested) unknowable God.  The Asatru Gods monacres are neither ineffable nor hard to understand.  The Asatru Gods often provide stories and opportunities for the creation of new stories and sagas.  Sometimes the worst situations lead to amazing stories.  We gather and share those.
